Sunday Devotional Kirtan: An afternoon to gather and chant. with Kavita Kat Macmillan & friends

  • Deep Waters 2710 North Interstate Avenue Portland, OR, 97227 United States (map)

Sunday Devotional Kirtan ~ an afternoon to gather and chant with Kavita Kat Macmillan & friends.

You are warmly invited to join as we offer our voices for an afternoon of chanting and Spirit songs.  At a time of great change, this practice focuses the mind and heart and allows each one of us to join in whatever way we most feel comfortable.

There will be a chance to arrive, ground, and release what no longer serves, while welcoming what is new and emerging through sound, breath, and voice. Through call-and-response and unison chanting, you’ll experience the healing vibration of mantra, and the steady presence of community around you. You are invited to sing, to listen, to move or simply to BE.

Kirtan is a uniquely powerful way to sing in community — it lifts the collective vibration, opens the heart, and creates a palpable field of resonance and coherence among everyone present.

This is a sliding scale event: $25-$45

With:
