Since ancient times the practice of singing and sacred sound have been used by humans to connect with our heart and spirit and to help us grow and heal!

These sessions can be a stabilizing way to drop-in with and get to know others who are exploring yogic practice through sound while also strengthening your voice, confidence, breath support and intonation.
Kavita will introduce concepts and shapes from Sound Yoga practice as well as some techniques of vocal opening and share some chants for the New Year.
These practices are drawn from Kavita's deep study of Hindustani Classical singing, and her years presenting Kirtan and Bhakti yoga as a yoga teacher and spiritual music mentor.
The bhakti path is also known as the sahaj marg (the natural and balanced path) as it is natural to human nature to love, and the path is seen as easier to practice than the other paths of yoga.

After our session Kavita will stay online until 6:30 to chat with participants about the January Mantra Reset which takes place Jan 12-16, 2026 (Mon-Fri 7-8am )
